Organizational Effectiveness · Retreats · Off-Sites · Strategic Dialogue
Organizational Effectiveness for the top leadership team, facilitated retreats, strategic dialogue and planning off-sites designed against your real conditions. Strategy, alignment, integration, org design and strategy execution worked in the room, ending in two or three commitments the team owns publicly. Built for paramedicine, public health, hospitals, long-term care, hospice, home and community care.

Why hire a facilitator

Most executive off-sites quietly fail in one of three places: the agenda was built around what the team leader thinks the problem is, the room never gets honest because the team leader is the one facilitating, or the commitments don't survive the first staffing crisis after the off-site.
We hold the structure so your team can do the real work, challenge each other on care, staffing, risk and strategy without eroding trust, and leave with decisions that hold past Monday. Grounded in I-O Psychology, organizational design and over a decade of senior healthcare practice.
Where a retreat fits in the larger arc. Our deepest work is long-form, 6-month Individual and Team coaching engagements and multi-session learning series that institutionalize change. Retreats and strategic dialogue off-sites are the shorter, budget-conscious entry point: a real, contained piece of work with profound value on its own, and, for most of the teams we work with, the doorway into the longer engagement that makes the change stick.

Formats
Half-day to 1 day
When the team is running hot and needs to come back into the same room with the same picture. Surface what's been left unsaid, re-align on priorities, and leave with two or three commitments the team owns publicly.
Best for: Mid-year reorientation, post-crisis reset, new team-leader onboarding.
1 to 2 days
Facilitated translation of a strategic plan into the behaviour, decisions and accountability the plan actually requires. Built around the two or three impact metrics that move your service.
Best for: Annual planning, post-merger integration, new strategic plan rollout.
2 to 3 days
Deeper work for an intact leadership team, combining strategic dialogue, team dynamics, individual reflection, and the behaviours required to execute together. Designed against your real conditions.
Best for: Whole-team transformation, leadership team formation, succession & culture shifts.
Recurring
Off-sites woven into a Team coaching engagement so the work institutionalizes. Each off-site advances a specific lever, culture, decisiveness, or execution, with monthly working sessions between.
Best for: Teams ready to move from a single off-site into a longer engagement where behaviour change institutionalizes.
How we facilitate
Pre-work with the team leader and 2-3 team members. We name what's actually getting in the way, clinical, admin friction, union dynamics, acuity, audit, before we design a single exercise.
The team is the curriculum. We hold the structure; you do the work. No 60-slide decks. No icebreakers that insult the room.
Every off-site ends with two or three commitments the team owns publicly, a named owner, and a check-in cadence. What gets named in the room shows up Monday morning.

On-site at your organization, off-site at a venue you choose, or hybrid. We travel across Canada and consult on venue selection where helpful.
Most engagements are scoped 6-10 weeks ahead so pre-work, interviews, and design land properly. Urgent reset work can move faster.
Intact leadership teams of 5-18. For larger groups (boards, full directorates, multi-site services), we scope a tailored design.
Not sure what you need
For the team leader, CEO or HR sponsor weighing an off-site against coaching, advisory, or a learning program. Confidential, and useful before any conversation with us.
Decision tool for fit · About 2 minutes
You may know something needs attention, but not yet know the right form of support. Ten short questions will help you clarify the challenge, the level at which it sits, and the type of support most likely to help, whether that is coaching, team coaching, advisory, a learning program, speaking, or a retreat.

Sandeep was an incredible resource and facilitator and quickly became a key team member. Her knowledge of health, research and school systems was incredibly strong, and she was able to provide a broader industry perspective and context that helped to make our needs assessment workshop a success. She carefully planned activities that motivated and interested attendees while meeting workshop goals. Her ability to summarize findings, concerns, and comments from a large, diverse group of over 50 people was outstanding! She also framed the findings into a concise report with clear recommendations and action items that have propelled and framed the second phase of the project. I emphatically recommend Sandeep to anyone in these sectors and I am excited to work with her again in the future!
Sandeep facilitated a two-part retreat for our senior leadership team to deepen our understanding of our individual and collective strengths, build a more cohesive team, strengthen interpersonal connections, and prepare us for a major transformation ahead. She has an uncanny ability to make everyone feel seen, heard, and valued. One of the most powerful aspects of the experience was watching team members fully lean into the activities and experiences Sandeep thoughtfully designed for us. I am thrilled to see how the team has continued to carry the insights and energy from our work with Sandeep into their day-to-day routines. I highly recommend her for any team engagement.
I met Sandeep at a workshop on motivating and executing effective change in the cancer treatment system in Canada. I found her keynote compelling, evidence-based, and inspirational. Thereafter, I engaged Sandeep as a consultant to help my team in a strategic plan to advance our combined research, educational, clinical and policy-related goals. She rapidly analyzed our situation, understood and appreciated our context and team dynamics. Sandeep used her excellent, dynamic skill set to elicit many solutions and commitments from my team. In other words, she helped us unlock our potential. Lastly, her recommendations to me as the team leader are practical, realistic, and implementable. Eternally grateful for the advice.
